Porsche PDK — Supported Variants
Porsche PDK transmissions use a tightly integrated vehicle communication architecture and require protocol translation to operate outside of the original Porsche vehicle environment. IOcan provides this through the OEM PDK Gateway driver: the factory PDK control unit stays in place and IOcan emulates the engine and vehicle signals it expects.
PDK support is newer than the 8HP platform and is being actively expanded — always verify compatibility for your specific unit before beginning a project.

Compatibility notes
Transmission compatibility depends on hardware version, control unit firmware version, the vehicle platform the transmission originated from, and the available CAN signals. Some units may require custom configuration or firmware support.
